Monday...August 18th...2008
Yes..I was a smokejumper while in college (4 years) and 8 years while I was a high school biology teacher..this was after being a fire lookout after high school...see photos below....
Hay Dave & Linda, When will you be passing through? Were not doing California anymore and either is Don. But we would love to see you. Let us know if you have time.
Is that 3rd picture YOU, Dave? I never would have guessed - you look so different (better!) now. Wowee, that's quite a life experience you had back then. What amazing work it must have been. Would love to hear more about it sometime.
I see that pic of you and it is like time stands still. That is the way I remember you. I see through these eyes young, and then I look in the mirror...HA Awesome pics.. Maybe you could call when you are passing by, Sacramento.. Love Ya Both, Vicky
Dang...my workplace has now added "Blogger" comment pages to our ever growing list of "access denied" webpages. My comments here will be a bit less frequent, as I can only post from home now.
What a bummer... but, at least I can still read the blog at work(so far).
