Sunday...October 5th....2008

Tomorrow afternoon, we fly away from Puerto Vallarta....what have we done for the last two days?.....NOTHING! We did go to town each evening for dinner..walking was our exercise for the day......mostly we read and watched movies and let the ocean breeze sooth our bods.

The many faces of Linda (as only I can get her to do) at dinner the last two nights:
.

ps....I forgot to express our "song" from Listening Heart...as we do our Commitment Statement, each couple is given a song...Linda and I have had this one a few times before.....this is the second time by Placedo Domingo (which Linda thinks is the best):

Time After Time

Placido Domingo

Time after Time

I tell myself that I'm

So lucky to be loving you

So lucky to be the one you run to see

In the evening, when the day is through

I only know, what I know

The passing years will show

You kept my love so young

So new

And Time after Time

You'll hear me say that I'm

So lucky, to be loving you

It has been a while since I checked in on the blog. We have been remodeling and were w/o internet for a week. John and I just returned from Nebraska. My nephew does the video for the Cornhuskers football team, so we had a chance to be on the "inside" of things. Altho the team lost its game on Sat. night(which was on ESPN for all to see) we had a great time visiting Matt and his wife. We have more work on the house for the next few weeks, then off to our timeshare in Aruba. Your pictures made me more antsy to get there. We leave right after the election. Hope the results put us in a celebratory mood!
Glad you have been doing nothing. I have been looking forward to the same.

It is so good to see that the two of you have made the most of your vacation... sometimes doing nothing is the best!

We were at Petit Le Mans this past weekend... it was great to see Simon Pagenaud again (you know he's now dating Katherine Legge), and of course my Atlantic boys! :) By the way, Glen Burr (who was in Iraq when we were all at Long Beach) sends his best wishes. He was helping out with the ALMS stuff, and was making notes to try and improve their fan activities as he remembers all the great work that the two of you did for Champ Cars!

Remember that you're always close in thought!

Love,
Swee

Love the photos! So, how does the Bubba Gump in PV compare to the one in Long Beach? ;)
