A rather quiet day....Linda felt a bit weaker today..no particular problem..just some energy drop....this is not uncommon a few days after the chemo session as the chemo starts "cookin'"
Linda's dear friend Mary comes for a visit from California Thursday and Friday.....Friday is the smaller chemo day and then we fly out in the afternoon for Florida. The wheelchair is all cleaned up and looks ready to go.....we have permission to use it from curbside to the airplane door and then they store it on the plane and have it ready at the next stop.
The bills from the Houston fiasco (the fainting trip) are coming in...in hindsight we should have rented a cab in Houston and driven to Oregon rather than go to the hospital for permission to fly ...and get the diagnosis "fainting"...it would have been cheaper.
We continue to chip away at the list of things to do......not a big list.....mostly medical bills and payment systems because of the changes in brokerages. The privacy garden is cleaned up and ready for warm weather...the pine needles are raked up and everything out back looks ready for "patio time" on the creek. It's funny..in Oregon we feel as if we have a list to do...in Florida no such list exists....go figure....

No lists...that is what I love about getting away. Wishing you both lots of sunshine and boring days in Fl.
Just think... in a few days, you'll be lounging around with nothing to do! Just what both of you deserve. :)
We're flying home to Malaysia on Saturday and will be there for two weeks... will be going to the F1 race there! Woo hoo!! Hoping to catch up with Sebastien after qualifying on Saturday. Hopefully I'll still be able to check in every now and then... if you don't see a post from me, just know that we'll still be thinking of you.
Take care, and have a wonderful and safe trip down to Florida.
Love,
Jim and Swee
A drop in energy we can deal with, as long as it comes with no dramatics! I don't doubt that a cab ride from Houston would have been cheaper! I can only imagine the size of those bills...
FL is just on the horizon and it won't be long until you're there, relaxing, enjoying some sunshine and maybe a hockey game (Is it still hockey season? Tells you how much attention I pay). It'll be a great recharge for you both.
Love to you both, as always.
I noticed Ruth Ann's note about family photos. I have all of Margaret and Lyle's in my basement for someone to go through. If you guys wait for cousin Darrell to do this you'll be waiting a long time. Glad your doing well...We think of you often. Shar
Sounds like you guys have everything in order like always. You probably will fly into Tampa. We will fly into Orlando Friday at 12:30 p.m. Girls are really excited to get some sun. We all have been preparing for the sun by going to the Tanning salon where Katie workd part time. First time for me. What an experience. I really feel alot better. Ken is worried that I am changing colors on him. He has never seen me this TOTAL brown. He can't believe how it has changed my attitude so I guess there is something good about the rays.
We will be in Cocoa Friday, Sat, and then board the ship Sun. Back then on Thurs to head back home.
Todd, oldest son is getting comfirmed Palm Sunday.
Well, back to packing. i Always take too much or don't take the stuff I really need.
Linda, Alex has decided to go for her Pharmacy Degree. She will start in September. Taking classes right now. Will be going to UNMC. She said she will be poor and old by the time she gets out. I told her about her Gr. uncle Richard.
Well, take care. I wish we could see you guys.
Love,
Janet
