Snow? What the &*$#*@^&!!!!!!!!!! Where's the sun and 60 degrees of two days ago?
Linda had a pretty good day yesterday after the "big chemo day" Friday.....she also had to put up with the ALMS race which she's not a big fan of......Champ Car forever! For that lady...nothing else. And then today it's NASCAR day, so she will be retreating to the bedroom for recorded "Days Of Our Lives"...can you say "soap opera"?
We were able to get our flight changed from Florida..good Alaska Airlines!..no additional fees either because of Miss Linda ...BUT we only got one additional day as there were no awards flights on Saturday the 11th of April or that following Sunday....hey an additional in the sun!
Linda finished the 4 book series with "Twilight" being the first...big book, that last one..whatever it's title is.
More tomorrow.....

Now, now dears. Isn't that why you live in beautiful central Oregon? To experience the four seasons (perhaps all in one week or even one day)? >>smirk<<
I really have no room to talk at all. It was raining here in Southern California this morning. RAINING! It ruined our whole agenda for the day. But that's okay. The lawns are the greenest I have ever seen them. Which is nice because we are now under drought alert so this summer those same lawns will be toast. Literally.
I digress mightily. Linda, I couldn't agree with you more. CHAMP CAR FOREVER. Nothing else comes close. I spent the day yesterday at a conference in Long Beach. Pulling off the 710 into the city actually made me sorrowful. Some of the barricades are already up. Pulling onto Pine Street couldn't help but give me a thrill, however. The Champ Car energy is still palpabile on that secion of road, which will turn into the track.
Enjoy your DOOL. We're dancing through the raindrops to the Hungtington Gardens for the Save the Redwoods. org yearly socal meeting this afternoon.

Snow, huh? I planted tomatoes today in our garden. We have mini-greenhouse "thingies" (Wall-o-waters, to be specific) that enable me to plant very early. We usually have at least one more dusting of snow AFTER I plant, so we will probably get some of that stuff that fell in Oregon.
I try watching the Nascar stuff...it just doesn't do it for me. We will miss going to the St. Pete race. Hard to believe that we walked around with the two of you there at the track a year ago.
Take care and keep resting.

Hey Linda! At least there are 2
of us in the world who will forever be Champ Car fans and Days of Our Lives fans! There can't be many more of us who embrace both of those entities. Take care,
Julie Brown
Good evening;
Just finished looking through some slides and selected some of the "good old days" to have printed. One is a really good photo of your family taken long ago. I'll get them printed and send them on. Another winter has gone by and I didn't get the slides put on a DVD. Maybe the secret is to make it a summer goal instead :).
Love,
Ruth Ann
