Linda - I do hope you understand why people who call you may need to talk about the "C" word. It's a tough thing to wrap one's head around, particularly if you haven't been through it in an intensive way in the past. Be patient with those folks. Talking about it doesn't invite it in, it makes you stronger, because it shows that you understand it and you're the one in control. But, that said, your callers should realize it shouldn't be the primary topic of discussion.
So very glad you've been able to get your head into a positive place again! This is a difficult journey and each day comes with new challenges emotionally. You're a very positive person and I know you have the mental and physcial fortitude to fight this sucker head-on.
I may have a slightly different perspective on this than some people and it can be difficult, at times, for me to stay as positive as I should be (that goes for all matters in my life), but I'm learning from you every day, Linda. Keep passing along the secrets and I'll keep paying attention.
