Tomorrow Linda goes in for an infusion session as well as a visit with her Oncologist...he was off last time she had an infusion so it's been 6 weeks since she has seen him.....so she is looking forward to visiting with him. She also had her crown temporary come off...she stuck it back on...but a visit to the dentist is in order tomorrow also...he will also need to look at the inflammed gum she is experiencing.
We will then go to the Redmond hospital to see friend and former colleague Roger Traweek who was fighting a foot infection...we reported on that a while back...he had surgery...yesterday...then went home..then came right back with abdominal pains...they operated and found they had to remove some small intestine plus a cancerous tumor on his large intestine....he was there for Linda..now she will be there for him...he says he needs a "pep talk" from Linda...and she will do just that.
The motor home is stored away again....we are a bit tired..still...from the golf tournament and cleaning up the RV....we are a bit like "slugs" today...actually Linda has more energy than Dave....
Tuesday we head to Anchorage for a week's visit with brother Darron and sister in law La Velle.

When you two are slugs you are more active than most of us are in a week! That's the spirit!
Enjoyed catching up on your blog after a week away. TravelGuy and I were back in his old haunts in New York City.
My best wishes to your friend Roger. I don't know him, but I don't want anyone to have to deal with cancer. It's interesting how sometimes something that seems totally unrelated can be the key to detecting cancer. Same thing happened with my mom. If she hadn't gone in for surgery for a different problem, they likely wouldn't have found her cancer until it was way too late to have the kind of time we did. I'm glad they found Roger's cancer and they're able to get him treated now.
Take it easy, you two. Being slugs can be a great thing, sometimes. Have fun in Alaska! Love to you both, as always.
