Sunday....June 6th...2010

Daughter Janine got us out of bed and to her house for pancakes....when is the rain gonna stop?

Linda and Dave went to the annual Cancer Survivors event in Portland....the music was way too loud but we still had a good time...Linda shot baskets with the help and support of "Blaze"...the Portland Trail Blazer Mascot....she also made a lavender sachet....and learned of some support organizations in the Portland area....

Tomorrow we "think" we are going to get the bank's final on the Canby house and we "think" we are picking a mortgage company and we "think" get the closing and purchase started...we also plan on going to NW Portland to look at flooring.....and "maybe" if it is as sunny and warm as forecasted...some time sitting on the beach on the river...

Well aren't you the special one with Blaze! He is so cute! And that tail. You look happy Linda Lou. Pics of the house yesterday were appreciated. You and Jim, a couple of peepers! lol Well looks like you are on your way to getting that house. Glad you are going to have some help. Hope the weather dries up soon. Too soggy! The pond near my house is overflowing. The water fowl are ecstatic! Love ya, Ginnie

To Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dave,
did you know I know I like to sing in the bath? I'm praying for you to be better every single night. I hope you like your new house.

Love, Taigen

That's one fine picture with such a big smile, as you flirt with Blaze! Your new camera is doing a great job as is the photogrpaher and the subject.

It has warmed up quickly here - was 85 here today - and I think of spring coming in all of a sudden and how appropriate it is for all the new beginnings you are experiencing. New home being at the top of the 'new' list.

Enjoy the new adventures in your new community.

Love you,
Mary

Looks like things are really moving. At least from your end! Hoping for good news on Monday about the pesky paperwork.

Wow you look great Linda, Yesterday Don and I and many friends and family walked Heaven can wait. We walked for you and me and all the incredably strong people that have had to experience this horrible disease. I am praying for a cure everyday. We had fun and I got my survivor hat and stood up for the first time. It was powerful. Good luck with you new house and have a wonderful day. Love Don and Deb

What a shot, but since Blaze is refusing to look at it, we can only hope that it went in;- Glen offers his help (as usual) in coaching you on the ideal shooting technique as he takes in the NBA finals series! Well, "girls just like to have fun" (you and me and others!)
We where visiting the graves on Monday also (Glen's parents and two brothers are on the exactly same row as Rich and Jonathan just south of the walking path, 3 spaces away!); we always stop at all their graves for prayers, thoughts and recalling of vivid memories ...sooo many! The sight of those bright orange blossoms immediately made me feel your presence and uplifting inspirational energy, as I told Glen that you probably had been there ... I wish we had crossed ways, but then we waited until the weather cleared, since we had the choice, being so close. Anyhow, you were thought of intensely and with great friendship and love. Glen had a hard time standing for a longer time, since he is still working up strength from acouple months ago, when he pulled out his back ... too much one-sided muscle-development (or too little on the left, depending how you want to look at it!) The weather obviously hasn't helped, but good things are sure to come, since we usually get about 3 months of dry, glorious weather, so keep up your spirits (but don't get your heart racing with excitement!) Let us know when we can come and meet you some time in your surroundings, so we can save you the effort of the trip. Spontaneity is great for us, i.e. "last minute", Glen's personality trait, although he likes it mainly early afternoon, so not to get too nervous about "getting ready" (1hour + 1 hour drive) In the meanwhile, best wishes for a speedy conclusion of the paper-work on your house, so you can make it your HOME. Hopefully, that will help bring down the speed of your pulse, also and keep the excitement away from medical events, focusing on the fun part of a new place to decorate! (I lost count, how many houses you have bought, built and beautified?! - most importantly, filled with love and excitement!
We love you! XOXO and prayers, always!
