New Year's Day Evening...January 1st ,2007

We didn't make it to New Year's (New York time)......

Linda and I folded and went to bed at 8 pm and were asleep by 8:30...this morning she wanted to see the recording of the dropping of the ball in Time's Square on the DVR......oops...forgot to record it...

Quiet day today...Rose Bowl Parade...lopsided Rose Bowl...Remember please Oregon beat USC and if quarterback Dixon hadn't been hurt, Oregon might have played for the national title and Dixon might have won the Heisman Trophy...oh well......"if"

"If"...I always learned that "if" frogs had wings.....they wouldn't bump their butts on the ground all day. There's a message in there somewhere, I've been told.

Tomorrow is a big day...Linda and I both have some tests..she then gets the 3rd cycle of chemo started...so it will be a long "clinic " day. Wish us a good day and a good third cycle for Linda....she is a bit "tired" of it all....

Hang in there, both of you. There is a light at the end of this long tunnel... Just know that you're always close in thought and our prayers.

Hope tomorrow goes smoothly for both of you!

Love,
Jim and Swee

Wishing you good luck on another big day. NO "if frogs" are invited to hop in on the clinic appts. tomorrow. Thanks for sending the snow our way. It is quite beautiful! The Rose Bowl was quite a disappointment for us......but it is only a game. We have had to say that one a lot this year.
You two beat John in the early-to- bed dept. yesterday. The ball dropped without us.....again!

I'm thinking of you as we usher in another year - a year hopefully full of better health and less stress for the both of you. The trips will still be there waiting for you when you're up to it but I know how you look forward to those. Hope your chemo goes ok. Thinking of you with love,

Ginnie
