We made it home to Sisters!
On the cruise, I spotted a sign in a shop window in Ketchikan which said:
"Nothing is worth more than this day...."
On the cruise we ran into a mother with two daughters....the daughters were journalling with the help of their mother and had done so for years....documenting their travels, etc., etc..through words, pictures, drawings and all. They shared with us this by explorer John Muir during the voyage through Glacier Bay National Park:
"Climb the mountains and receive their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you, as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares drop off like autumn's leaves".
