Tuesday....June 2nd....2009

Hiding out in the "woods".....rained last night and today....not bad....for Central Oregon....

The motorhome is pretty nice in rainy weather.

Linda's surgery for the port has been rescheduled for Thursday morning with the chemo to follow....one less trip to town so not all that bad....and one more day "off"...

Don't worry about the rain there, it's raining HERE. Woke to thunder last night. What??? I could hardly believe it. TravelGuy was outside this afternoon and was caught in a 5-minute deluge of the largest raindrops I have ever seen. What weird weather.

It's finally raining here in Florida too. Lakes are filling up, everything getting green. Went by your house the other day, all looks well.

No rain in upstate New York, but we have had enough. I just learned a friend in Syracuse also has lung cancer, in both lungs.

But what I really wanted to tell you is I was going through my hat collection the other day, and came across a Bridgestone hat I got at the last race in Denver. I had decided to get non-driver autographs on it for a change since I have other hats with drivers. Right on top of the hat - guess who!!! Yep, Linda Wood and Dave Wood! Other autographs include Carl Haas, Paul Gentilozzi, Robin Miller, Paul Tracy's Mom Marilyn Sars, and Rick Lathrop ( of the merchandise truck). Plus several Champ car staff. Wow! If I wanted to give it up, bet I could get some big bids on ebay, but its NOT for sale.
