Thursday....December 24th...2009...717 BLOGS

Merry Christmas to all you beautiful people! I couldn't let this day pass without letting you all know how much you mean to me, not just today, but every day of the year. My heart is so full with the gifts that you give to me in your support and love. How can I be more blessed?

I just spent an incredible evening with my family, sharing our traditional meal of oyster stew and clam chowder; then sharing gifts in front of the tree. Thanks for all your Christmas greetings and letters. It wasn't a white Christmas here, but I was grateful the weather allowed everyone to traverse the mountain without difficulty.

May your Christmas be blessed with peace and love, and God grant us all a healthful and prosperous New Year. I love you all more than you can possibly know...

Love and Gratitude....Linda

Linda,David and family,
Merry Christmas to you all.
When you mentioned oyster stew I remember a Christmas long time ago having stew with your Dad at the Emkens. Also, seeing Jeff reminded me of Richard at Christmas again many years ago. Then Jim reminds me of your Dad. We had a Christmas at the Emkens long time ago that we had to go pull Alice and Marvin up the drive so they could celebrate Christmas. I don't know if you were in the area at the time. Blessed memories!
We are getting a lot of snow in fact 13 inches and it really is blowing Our little dogs don't know what to think. Their spots are gone.
We were to have Christmas Brunch but just heard from David can't get out of his back door and Alex can't get out of her complex. So it will be a very quiet Christmas. It will make us appreciate our Christmas's pass. Clark and Rachel is going in from Florida today to visit his family.
Well, it was wonderful to see all your family. What a blessing for you to share those family pictures with us.
Another year we can be thankful for having you still with us. So Linda, please don't give up and David keep being the best nurse to her.
God bless and Merry Christmas

Linda, Dave & family;
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We have enough of white Christmas that I would be more than glad to share. Reminds me of when we were kids and the drifts went nearly to the top of the telephone poles. It will be a few days before my drive gets cleared. First time in my lifetime that I remember Christmas services being canceled for last night and today. It was just Skip's Mom and me here and it is her birthday, too. We had a good time anyway.
Keep the positive attitude in 2010.
Love & prayers,
Ruth
