Because of Linda's illness and folks wanting to know how things are going,I've decided to do a BLOG regarding her experience. Check in from time to time and I'll try to keep everyone posted as to how she's doing and what's going on.. PS...to leave a comment, click on the "comments" under the post....write your comment. Be sure to include your name. Be sure to click on "other" or "anonymous" ...either works...Linda loves to read the comments. Dave

Great to see you out and enjoying hockey. We had an interesting call last weekend at the Aces. An opposing player had a break away and one of our defensemen interfered and our other defenseman dislodged the net. The ref called two penalty shots and if the first was made the other shot would not be allowed. They missed both shots. No one has ever heard or seen that call.
Hi you two. Glad to see you've been occupying your time in the off-(racing)season.
Also glad you were able to straighten everything out with the whole insurance fiasco.
We're just beginning to decorate for Christmas here. Jason's very proud of his outdoor wonderland again this year -- lighted icicle forest and all! What a sight.
Enjoy the warm temps these last few days of vacation!

P.S. Linda, where are your pom-pons?
Well, Linda, the look on your face is like the looks we have had during most Bears games this year. It is interesting how uplifting an good game can be....and what disgust a bad game can produce.
John and I cut down our Christmas tree today. It is almost 10 feet tall. As usual, I told John before we left that we should get a smaller tree this year. Again, my good intentions fell to the wayside. Tomorrow the big project of decorating it will keep me busy all day. John has learned to just stay out of the way.
Ah, look what you have to look forward to when you return to Oregon.

Linda fits right in with those cheerleaders! Glad to see you two are feeling good and having fun.
Love to you both, as always.
It seems like I am moving in slow motion not getting the things I want done faster. That sort of sound like "Senior Age"right?
You guys really enjoying yourself which is wonderful.
Today is baking and candy making day. My goal is to
get it all done. We are having a Bake Sale at church Sunday so I have to get some of it done.
Just finish an Advent supper at church so now will come the drive-thru Live Nativity. Praying for nice and no snow or wind. It really get cold standing out there. I always pick to be Mary because I get to stand by a donkey. The smell isn't the greatest but, hey, I am warmer.
It is 14 degrees this a.m.It will probably warm up to maybe 30. Big deal!
Well, close for now. Off to get my supplies for baking.
Love, Janet
We may be in Bend on the weekend of the 12th... not for sure but if we are I will call you...
Sorry about all the rain you guys. I'm in Tampa visiting TravelMom and trying to fit about 150 errands into five days. She's recently lost 2 of the 3 people who drive her to Walgreens, etc. so we're out looking for the glam stuff of the holiday season--like Christmas lights and a new toilet seat. Hey, that's important too!
Hope you are both doing okay. I'll try to arrange a meet up the next time I'm here for longer and you're not practically out the door yourselves.
