Things have been a bit calmer today....we did not go to the Doctor today as the bleeding had stopped and the weather has been quite snowy. The wound looks pretty good (in context) with multiple cuts and a lot of stitches.....I cleaned it up tonight and adjusted the bandaging so it doesn't look so ghastly.
Mrs. Wood is feeling better after spending a lot of time sacked out this am....what can I say having gotten up at 1:30 pm (please remember the night of drama from you know who).
Tomorrow is a busy day so sleep tonight is very important...Linda has decided not to take the "woo woo" pills....thank you very much...another night like last night would be dastardly. And I forgot to mention a systolic pressure of 184...yikes!!!!!!! I'm back down today....128....
Linda is almost done with "The Lost Symbol" and enjoying it very much...
We are still on track to leave for Florida on January 8th.....and will be going to Portland this coming Thursday or Friday depending on the weather....snow....snow and more snow in the forecast. We have to be back to Bend on January the 5th (Tuesday) to get the stitches out.
The folks who looked at our home yesterday loved it...loved Linda's Christmas decorating.....loved the creek....loved it all....of course they have a home in California to sell....but may try to make it work before that....we shall see....of course if we don't get as much as we want, Claudia's stable might become our home...but she knows we have that big motorhome.....

Ok. yesterday's post about Linda being a bad pot head made me laugh out loud!!!! ahhhhh, the good old days. heeheeheeeee!!! (psst, Linda -- I wasn't much better... I tended toward the paranoid/guilt side of it all.)
Glad you're now resting and healing. Take it easy, huh? Do the absolute necessary and let the rest fall where it may. Read and listen to good music and rest. And I'll wrap you in that golden glow of healing energy and love. And Dave, same goes for you. Rest up.
Keeping my fingers crossed for a home sale...
Susie
Me casa su casa...or something like that! You guys know you are always welcome...If temp drops below 20 you might even be allowed inside the house!!
Claudia
Glad to hear that things have calmed down, and you're both getting some much needed rest. It sounded like Linda was in an episode of Twilight Zone there for a bit! (ha! ha!)
Hope you're able to make the trek to Portland tomorrow/Friday - have a safe trip there and back... and just in case I don't get on before the new year rolls around... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Love,
Jim and Swee
I love you, I love you, I love you! Even with bandages, you are ONE HOT MAMA!!!! You're amazing and beautiful, caring and strong, and my role model in life. If I can be half the woman you are, then I'll have made the world a better place. Thanks for being such an incredible person and keep your chin up. What a warrior you are!
love, janine
I absolutely loved all the Christmas pictures, thank you for sharing. You look beautiful with the white bandages. Take care of yourself and I will write more tomorrow, client just walked in. All my love, Judy
Hoping that the healing continues. Nurse Dave, you are doing an outstanding job! May the New Year bring both of you all the best.
Marilyn
