Happy Valentines Day...we hope your day was as good or better than ours....and we had a good one. Linda has broken out of her "funk"...and felt more lively and not quite as tired...a bit more alert....and with no nap today.....
Wendy, Chris and Taigen just returned from Cape Canaveral where they had a delightful day.....tomorrow we all go to Busch Gardens.....Linda is known to ride all the big roller coasters but I think she will pass this trip....we have the wheel chair for her to ride around in all day....
We wrote our valentine letters to each other today....which we have been doing for a few years....very touching and insightful as to our feelings and thoughts about each other and our commitment to our relationship....

Dave and Linda,
Discovery Cove, Orlando. Dolphins. I know it sounds expensive but it would be worth it and it comes with busch gardens and lots of other things. Go do it.

Beautiful. I shared a love like that once and reading your thoughts on each other, brings back such wonderful, warm memories. Thanks, I needed that!

Thirty-three years ago we meet. Cathy decided on a whim to spend our day at the Olympics in Vancouver. No tickets - but with a pray and hope that we could get tickets we headed to Vancouver. We left at 9:00am and arrived at the venue for figure skating at around 1:30pm. I pushed Cathy to the ticket booth and they made an announcement that there were no tickets - the event (pairs - short program) was sold out. We decided to go downtown on the city bus - Bus 135. Downtown we found the Olympic Torch - not as big as we thought. We walked around until around 4:30pm and decided to go back and get our car. Just on a whim, I told Cathy we should check on tickets again. Our pray was answered, they had wheelchair tickets for two people. The event had been going on for about 1 1/2 hours. We got into the Pacific Coliseum with the first two sets of four pairs had performed. It was great to see an event after we just decided to see if we could get into anything. Nice sweathearts' day for us.
All of this with no proof that we were there. We forgot our camera and I left our celphone in the car. But we still have the great memories.
Love ya guys,
Ron & Cathy
