Monday....Janaury 26th...2009

Linda talked with her pulmonologist today and left a message for her Oregon oncologist...she should talk to him tomorrow.....the pulmonologist is going to have a scan done this week....and provided more meds to still the cough. Linda has been experiencing stomach upset and nausea as well as tiredness...so the test is to get to the bottom of things.

Linda didn't go to the Rolex 24 hours at Daytona....brother Darron and Dave went....got home late Saturday night and watched the finish on TV Sunday.....missed Jim and Swee...frequent posters here....we looked hard for them.

A picture from our Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game last week:

Got some photos from the Rolex published on Autoracing1 website...here are some others:

Notice Ryan Hunter Reay in the first picture....knew him when he was a very young driver.....next...one of my favorites AJ Allmendinger who is now in NASCAR.... and then Jimmy Vasser...my all time favorite driver from CART and Champ Car...now a car owner in the IRL....lastly.....getting dark....

Nice to see you "back in your element", Dave. Too bad Linda didn't see Jimmy, I'm sure he has magical healing powers!
Long time, no posting here, Linda, but I read this blog and try to send good vibes every time. I'll try to post more here, your race friends are all waving the green for you, no FCY's at all.
Enjoy Florida and look forward to maybe seeing you this summer. You have to make it up here.

Good to see some of the old familiar faces! Very sorry Linda couldn't make it to visit with old friends at the track.

Hope the doctors can get all this under control. Linda's had to deal with way too much of this junk!

Dave, that sunset photo is fantastic! Great work!

Love to you both, as always.

Just got home from FL. Dave - we looked hard for you too. I'm so bummed that we didn't run into you at the track... just can't believe we never saw you there, considering we practically lived around the paddock area most of Saturday before the start of the race. Linda - sorry you weren't up to going. Hope you are feeling a little better each day. Tell Dave to give you a big hug from us! :)

Take care, and enjoy the nice warm weather down there!

Love,
Jim and Swee
