Saturday....January 31st...2009

We have gotten flights to Oregon on Wednesday of next week....meaning Linda's oncologist session will have to be Thursday.....Super Bowl flights out made anything earlier impossible....we are happy with what we got.

We plan on packing over the next few days and visiting Florida friends...as well as wrapping up things like mail, newspapers, cars, etc., etc.....things we hadn't planned......

Linda's "The Secret... Daily Teachings" for the day, says "No matter where you are, no matter how difficult things appear to be, you are always being moved toward magnificence. Always "

Pictures following were from last night...pizza...Super Bowl activities downtown and hockey game. Linda was persistent that we all go..and she said it felt good to be among people.....she looks pretty good for feeling as she does......

Linda and Dave, If ever there were 2 people who could fight this, it's the two of you. We hope you know we are with you in spirit and in our prayers. The fight begins again, but you can win this round, too! Only our very best,
Julie and Bob Brown

Hi Linda -- I just found out about your condition from Janine. I work in the office at Tualatin Elementary with her, and we just got connected on Facebook today. I've been through cancer with my husband. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers as you take the next steps. I'm cheering you on and will keep up through your blog and your great daughter, Janine!
Blessings,

You are right: Linda looks great. So does my almost-hometown of Tampa. Miss being there for the big game but since I don't care who wins.... My parents used to live so close to the stadium you could hear the crowd roar. Went to a game there once. It might have been during the (in)famous "go for 0" season when the Bucs went 0-15.
Just tryng to take your mind off things.....

Love,
TravelGal

well, crap. ... But a refrain from an old song just ran through my head "... pick myself up, dust myself off, and start all over again." You can do this. Stay focused on what you want, don't entertain thoughts to the contrary and know that there are a bazillion of us out here sending good vibes your way, bolstering you up and, as I always say, wrapping you up in that golden glow of perfect health and healing love.
