Wednesday....June 17th....2009

Linda is doing well...we have been working at our "spec" house at Brasada Ranch....trying to "spiff" it up...after dropping another $200,000 off the price.....2 days of restaining and weed removal among other things.

Next Tuesday is Linda's scan with results discussed on Thursday....we are looking for a record comment number on this BLOG after the news is reported on Thursday....Linda should get a good report as I can tell from the outside observations that these rounds of multiple chemos, etc have been doing the job as well as she keeping upbeat with a good attitude and exercise.

Linda got a haircut...finally..she has about half the normal hair but it was getting long....

Today is my 62nd birthday..no big deal except I now get SOCIAL SECURITY!!!!!!!! At one time I was going to use the SS for motorhome gas but now with the economy it is for subsistence!!!!!!

Happy Birthday you old fart!

I can say that because I started getting the dole at the end of last year. Didn't realize you were a boomer like me. Hated giving up the 40% but it the remaining 60% sure comes in handy when paying TravelMom's rent.

What's the record? (For the number of posts) Does it count if we post more than once? Huh? Huh?

Happy B'Day, Dave -- may the best day from this previous year be the worst day you have this coming year! And, hey, at least you're getting SS -- I'm figuring it'll be gone by the time I get there (and that's only 10 years).

Linda, I'm gonna celebrate the good news now because that's what I want -- to read a post that says all the bad stuff's disappearing/in remission/gone and the good stuff is stronger and healthier than anticipated by the drs. So if I focus on that... well, you know how it works!!!

Holding you in the golden glow of healing love and perfect health!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAVE!!! Congratulations on making it to Government assistance! I've got many years left to go and by the time I get to 62, they'll likely have changed the SS age to 80!

I'll refrain from any comment on the outcome of Linda's scans, since I tend to think I'm a jinx. I'll wait patiently to read the results.

My love to you both, as always.
