Congratulations on the new home! Don't wear yourselves out getting it just "perfect". Now that things are set, I must get out a map to find Canby.

Thanks for the Canby info! Which house pictures are Canby (which blog date)? Where are the other house pictures from?

Okay, so it took me a minute to figure out the reason for the pop can and the insect.....DUH!
Loved the honeymoon/newlywed pics. How time flies when you are having fun with the one you love!

OMG--the house is less than a mile from my friend's home in Canby! That's a lovely area. On one of my visits there, we took a walk through Swan Island Dahlias; it's an incredible sight in September, when all the dahlias are in bloom. :) Hope you can experience that pleasure in the fall.

The honeymoon photos are lovely!

Hugs,
Susan

Hello, Dave and Linda! The pictures proof what love can do for you ...still in love and cute!
It's been a while since I checked out your blog ... what a surprise to see you back in the area and in a new home! Congratulations! The location seems perfect for all your needs and so close to family and friends from this area, especially for long-distance travelers like you. Guy had just mentioned he and Janine got in contact, which reminded me to check in with you "guys".
Glen had pulled out his back a few weeks ago (he got a little "up-tight" when we talked about selling the mining equipment in our mini-storage, which is finally closed - we didn't need that extra cost each month, and a friend and former patient came with his great heavy equipment to store it at his farm until it can be sold ... it's hard to let go of those old, but intense dreams ...!) So back to Dr.Eric Jung, our accupuncturist who got him on the road of recovery, out of pain and on his feet promptly; it takes a little longer each occurance though. Yesterday Glen had his monthly North-Salem-High-School luncheon, when the class of 57 meets, i.e. whoever is interested and in the area. Glen loves reminiscing as well as establish new points of interest and frienships; even I am becoming something of a "class-mate" (although much younger,I need to reiterate!!!) may-be because I keep bringing freshly baked sourdough bread to some of them?! Can't wait to come and see you sometimes soon or see you in Salem, if you are down here to visit other friends! Loads of love, good wishes and prayers, always in our hearts

P.s.: This care-taker just had the first physical in 5+ years and aced it (I do know all about that colonoscopy now, though!) Thought, I share the great news with you,( not to be taken for granted)in the hopes it is "contageous" and rubbs off on you Dave, Mr."Care-taker ... stay out of trouble, please, and especially on you Linda!
