Saturday......September 25......2010

Dave is picking up some wood to finish a project in the garage, so I am filling in today. I've done a little baseboard painting and still have a peach pie to bake to take to Sister Karen's tonight; otherwise, I'm just taking it easy today. This over breathing wears me out! I'm definitely ready for my nap.

Thanks so much for all the comments. They really help. I enjoy just sitting and looking at our home, and how we've made it ours. I'm so glad we went through it all. It was definitely worth it.

Love you guys!

Love and gratitude....Linda

L, as was said in previous posts, I'm thinking ya' need to put your feet up more. You're doing more than I do -- and I don't have major molecular work going on inside me. Woman, you'd run circles around me. Truly, it's OK to kick back and smile at what you've accomplished -- both inside you and inside the house. Enjoy the now a bit more, eh? :-D And it's important to recharge the batteries. You've got a lot of positive thinking to stay on top of. Lots of positive visualizations to do. And all that Mind Work takes the same amount of energy (if not more) than spackling, painting, tiling and grouting.

Breathe slowly and deeply. Replenish the well hourly, if need be. Recline into the arms of love and peace and healing energy when you recline into an easy chair. And remember that as always, I've got you wrapped in the golden glow of healing love and serenity.

Hello love birds!
It's over 100 degrees here, suddently summer, which never really got kicked in So. CA off this year. Go figure, summer returns as we slide into October!

Glad your house is now a special home for you. I have been promised just one more full week until the mess is done in my house, furniture back in place and no workers inside. I see signs of beautiful but it's not ready to kick back yet. Martha Stewart paint is living up to its lovely pallet and limited paint smells.

As you sit with your feet up looking around at the coziness of your finished home - soak up the fruits of all your labor and re-energize. Let the spirit quiet and flow.

Thinking of you with love,
Mary

Satisfaction is sometimes the greatest reward. How wonderful to be able to see and enjoy what you have crafted with your own hands. The timing seems perfect too as you have harvested (all those building materials) and now prepare to enjoy the fruits of your labor in your snug new home as the cooler weather sets in.

If you'd remind the thermometer here in CA about it, I wouldn't mind....

Linda, you have truely made that house a home. I saw it before you started and I saw it the other day. There is a lot of warmth and love and reminders of a life shared with many loved ones.
You and Dave have every right to be very proud.

Hi there. It is Sunday and you are having dinner with good friends. I have some kind of virus so decided not to join you. Hope you are rested this day and feeling better. I am packing for Egypt and trying to keep under 49 pounds of stuff. Good luck! lol I will have lots of pics to share with you when I return. I'm back on the 17th. Egypt and Jordan this trip. Plan to ride a camel (it will never be the same). Love you and I will think of you while I'm gone. Love you, Ginnie

I am having back surgery on the 8th or Oct and pray that I can be as energetic as you are during my recovery.
Glad to hear that you and Dave are fine with this home. It must be nice to be closer to most of the kids.

Glad to hear the house is coming together. Then all you have to do is sit back and RELAX. It could be like you're on vacation all the time.

Ocean waves...
Jimmy Buffet...
Fruity drinks...

No need to come back to "reality," just keep daydreaming.

Take care,

Glad you're enjoying your new home! Relax and rest up for your Wings seminar next week. We're headed down to Atlanta tomorrow for Petit Le Mans and the ALMS year end banquet - that should be fun to see "my boys" all dressed up! :)
Keeping you close in thought,
Jim and Swee
