Yikes..it is already Wednesday or very late Tuesday....lots has happened...
Of course we made it back from our camping trip..."roughing it" in the RV while the family used tents...hey....we did that in our younger days too....
We are back "at it".....stove is in...gas is on...we've got the hot water heater going.....the furnace going......with filters now.....duh....the lady living there didn't have a filter for who knows how long......Linda has painted lots of base board so that is getting ready to be "pin nailed" in today...and tomorrow .....and....
Saturday we get the furniture from Central Oregon and Sunday we move it in...we will be moved in by Monday....
Linda's biopsy is Friday morning at OHSU.....she was insistent that it not be "twilight"anesthesia this time..she wants to be totally "out" as the first time she had a biopsy in a "twilight state" she felt the whole thing....her teary crocodile tears response was "they liiiiiieeeeeeedddddd (lied)..it HHHHHUUUUURRRRRTTTTTT!!!!!! (HURT)"..she claims to have felt the whole thing. Anyway. she wants "out....o-u-t" this time....
Linda's spirit is much better...her talk has turned more positive....believing she will have what it takes to be successful in a clinical trial...comments on the blog have been most helpful...good for you.....
Today Linda will be heading to her old stomping grounds...St. Paul, Oregon...with Claudia...she looks forward to her "jaunts" out with Claudia....."Girls Go Wild......In St. Paul ,Oregon"......

Wow... so much catching up to do as we were away for over a week. Hang in there, Linda... you know we are all here for you (through prayers , thoughts, blogs, etc.). Good luck with the biopsy on Friday - fingers crossed that they will find you to be a candidate for the clinical trials.
How's your new home? Can't wait to see pics of it all decorated. :)
Positive, "sun-shiny" thoughts are being sent your way...
Love,
Jim and Swee
If anyone were a good candidate for the trials, Linda, it would be you! Look how far your amazing attitude has carried you so far. Incredible!
And that Dave is a pretty stellar guy, isn't he?
Remember that no doctor can put a number on our days; it's only the Man upstairs. Believe!
Thinking of you,
shelly & jason paul
Linda,
Here's to nothing but good thoughts for you and hoping everything turns out for the best on Friday.
Have been thinking of Jonathan. I don't remember exact day, but do remember his birthday is in September and figure he would be 32? years old this month. Still envision him as that sweet, considerate, adorable little towheaded boy. Not too many kids at his age would actually offer to help us put bark mulch around our log home - he was so special.
Ken went to watch OSU-TCU game. Went with his golfing buddies and had a great time even though the outcome of the game wasn't what any of us wanted.
Love, Susan & Ken
Your positive attitude is what keeps you going for sure, I feel very blessed to have had a few days of your time with very little distractions. You are the best friend ever, but you already know I love you bunches and bunches. YOU keep me going! Judy
Love and support from Alaska. We are currently checking out the housing market in Alaska. Out of the townhouse and hopefully our last home purchase. I still look at Silverton but know what roots are about.
We keep current with the blog and know what a strong sister-in-law we have and also the great care giver she has. Off to Seward for our final RV trip of the year.
Congrats on becoming home owners again and out of the RV/Trailer trash world.
That's the Linda we all know and love! Keep your chin up! I'm glad it sounds like both of you are feeling a bit better today.
Good luck with the furniture. You'll be moved in and ready to relax a bit in no time!
My love to you both, as always.
Here we go - tomorrow is Thursday and then the Friday biopsy 'event' which you plan to sleep through. That's the way to go, just forgetaboutit!
Enjoy the home cooking actually on a stove in your own home. Sounds heavenly.
It's taken a chilly turn here, dropped 20 degrees. Oh sure, it's still in the 70s but that's all relative!
Take good care of yourself!
Love you,
Mary
