Sunday...July 6th...2008

Saw a good rental movie tonight....THE BUCKET LIST starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson......it's about two guys discovering they have terminal cancer and draw up a list of things to do before they die...ie......a "bucket' list...things to do before they "kick the bucket".

The message is much broader.....it applies to everyone in life.....and what they do with their life....perhaps, restated...what they do "within" their life...

That was a great movie... we watched it on the plane on our way to England.

So good to see that you're both enjoying yourselves, and that you're doing well. :)

Hope you had a great 4th!

Today, I am going to do something that I have put off for a very long time. I am going to play 18 holes of golf with friends who are great golfers. Like the movie we put off things that we should had done. Well, this is it. Golf today. In NE we have had awful weather. Storms and constant rain. Which is good but I know North. Carolina needs rain more than we do at this time. Enough about the weather. Sounds like you guys are having fun. We are going out camping out at Two Rivers this weekend for the first time. We better not have tornado warnings because we will head for home.
Well, take care and love you guys.

It was my 40th birthday over the weekend, so a couple friends and I treated ourselves to a nice hotel and some spa treaments. My first spa treatments ever! I need to do that kind of thing more often. Sometimes it takes an awfully long time to realize that we don't treat ourselves well enough.

You two have always seemed the type to go out and live your lives fully. I'm sure there are things you don't do often enough for yourselves or things you've put off for too long. But, I have confidence that, like me, you're always learning. It's never too late to learn.

Glad you're having some fun lately. You both look happy and healthy. Go get a couple massages... I'm telling you, they're fantastic!! ;-)

Love to you both, as always.

We just rented the same movie this week! We have been doing our time at the hospital with John's younger son, so the setting looked all too famaliar. There is something for everyone in THE BUCKET LIST. I still want to be the one to say "Drivers, start your engines!" at a race, among other things. Hope both of you have a very long list and a lot of time to cross them off.
