Saturday....November 7th....2009

Linda here....... to give Dave a break, and tell you about my day. I had my usual 12 hour sleep last night ( I really need my rest), and spent the morning doing my checking accounts and making sure I had enough money to pay all the property taxes on the various real estate we own. I was afraid I'd have to sell more IRAs to pay them all, but I squeaked through which made me happy.

We went to the pool this afternoon and visited with friends. We got two invitations for Thanksgiving dinner, so we won't have to be alone. It was a beautiful day. I started back on weight training today, which I had been anxious to start. My body tone is sadly lacking and I know I always feel better and healthier with a little muscle tone. We came back home and took a two mile walk around the neighborhood. I'm definitely worn out now, but still proud of what I've accomplished.

So far I've had no bad side effects from my recent infusion and hoping it stays that way. I'm loving being here at our Florida home among great friends and great weather.

Love and gratitude.....Linda

Linda was a "champ" today...in the gym for upper body weights and then a 2 mile walk....her idea...not mine.

Tomorrow another day in the sun....working on some Tampa Lightning hockey tickets for Thursday night...they are ahead of the Canadians 3 to 1 at the end of the 2nd period...on TV...

Wow... you're putting me to shame, Linda! 2 mile walk... weights... phew... I'm tired just reading what you did! :) You are simply one amazing woman, that's for sure! You're such an inspiration to all of us. Dave - hope you were able to keep up with Linda's exercise regimen. :)

Hope you continue to not have any side effects from this last infusion, and hope that the weather continues to be gorgeous down there for you!

Have a great Sunday!

Love,
Jim and Swee

So nice to be able to talk to you. You should have been exhausted from all you did, but you still took time to touch base with me. The weather is so depressing and dark today, that I booked tickets for me and ALL my family to come stay at your place, don't worry about room, I can just pitch a tent!!

Linda Lou,
Sounds as if you are thriving in the Florida sun! Rainy here but still pretty warm for November. We can thank Bill Sizemore for our property values going down but our taxes going up. Go figure! Love ya,

Ginnie

Oops, let's try this again. I'm sitting watching the Seahawks at home while Chris is at the game. Go Hawks!

Good to hear you really had a good cruise with no drama this time! We've had a bit of drama this week but are doing better hopefully. Take care and have lots of good times in Florida!

Love, Wendy

So glad to hear from you and know you are doing so well. I know how much you enjoy the exercise and it will for sure make you feel better. I love it too once I convince myself to get up off the couch and do it. I am so jealous of your great weather. Would love to run away to Florida myself. Love you bunches, Judy

Always good to hear from you, Linda. (Okay, Dave, I can see that pout on your face.) As always, you are an inspiration with your positive attitude and determination. We have enjoyed several beautiful days around here. Who would have thought that I would listen to a Chicago Bears game while relaxing on a lawnchair in my backyard on a November Sunday......Okay, the game was far from relaxing, but you get the drift. Sounds like the Florida sunshine is just what you need. Enjoy!

ahhhhhh, weight training. What is it about that that feels so good? Glad you're up to such things. And so glad to hear that the chemo's gone so well. :-)

Wrapping you in that golden glow of healing warmth -- which sore muscles may need -- heehee!!! -- and peaceful love! There's nothing that today will present that you can't handle!
