Good working day today...daughter Janine came over and we all painted all day....Linda paced herself...working periods and then resting.....she got tired but not fatigued...and we made great headway...Friday son Jim is helping us paint and we are going to work hard....to get this behind us. A painter on trade was to come today to talk painting the rest of the inside and the outside...but he didn't show....so we figure we are on our own. The painting and the hardwood floor are our biggest obstacles to getting this project running faster and not wearing us out.
Tomorrow is a day of meetings and doctor appointments...and grand daughter Jillian gets to come visit and plan our trip to Victoria in August. Linda's doctor appointment is with the Oncologist at OHSU to assess the effectiveness of the Tarceva and all.
We are not all about work and no play....even though it feels like it....next week we leave in the RV for Sweethome, Oregon for three days of Country Jamboree with big name entertainers ....we have gone for years and love it....then in August on the 16th we go to Seattle with Jillian by train and then by boat to Victoria and stay at the Empress Hotel and have "high tea" and explore the city and return to Seattle after two days to visit Wendy, Chris and Taigen for a couple of days. Then Dave has a Crossover Wings Seminar in Eugene for 5 days..which he helps with each year...we have yet to decide whether to take the RV and have Linda in Eugene or have her stay with someone local.
We have a camping trip with Wendy, Chris , Taigen and Janine over Labor day weekend (camping for us is the RV). Linda and Dave work with the couples seminar with Wings the end of September in Eugene and then Linda has her Ostomy take down surgery after that. So we do have things other than the house on the map.

Sounds like you have a lot of things going on. The Country Jamboree sounds like it is going to be fun though. Great Post.
Linda, would love to have you stay with me while Dave is at the Wings Seminar. If you are both okay with that, give me the date and I will clear the calendar, I promise to keep you resting at all times. You can sit in one of the yard chairs and watch me work at weeding, etc. We can even take a couple of short trips to nursery to look for plants for your yard. let me know, I would love it! Judy
