Great day today.....no sun...rained from time to time....but we had a great day.
Went to the famous Tewilliger hot springs.....in the old growth forest....amazing....and we met lots of neat people too...rained off and all...didn't matter as we were in the hot springs. Hippies used to live here in the forest and by the hot springs by the hundreds in the "old days".
We've come to love the B and B we are at.....lots of neat discussions with the "inn keeper".....and the rustic house and bedrooms are very endearing...with the river right outside....we will be back.

So glad to be able to track your "adventures" and your improving health. You people sure are busy! Your trip to the McKenzie R. prompted me to write. We annually go to the Wayfarer Inn (near Vida and up the road on the other side of the covered bridge). It's a favorite spot of ours. This year we're hoping great nephew Kevin Pierson can join us. Sara has been a regular and this year looked like a good time to drag Kevin along, too. He said the invitation sounded pretty tempting...two-three days just golf and fishing? Hmmmm.
I hope the river goes down. We've never had that issue before and hope by the time we go late in June, it will settle down.
The Willamette is higher than normal, too, so we're still waiting to get our "plank" over to the dock and our irrigation running. Not a problem yet, as the rain has the yard and gardens from drying up. However, we are definiately ready for some warmer weather and would like to get our boat going.
Our thoughts continue to be with you.

Linda and David, Sounds just wonderful especially the hot springs. Our rivers are up also around here with all the rain. We have tornado warning every night. Today, we have a blue sun and sunshine. Hoe you have a sunshining day today!!!!!
