Well, here I am again a week later back in the infusion room being pumped full of fluids. I'm supposed to be at the mall being pushed around in my wheelchair shopping.
I know some of you have questioned whether I am from another planet because of my positive attitide. Well, if you could see me now, you would definitely know I'm human. I've had to ask for my personal box of tissues, I've been crying so much. The doctor thinks my plate is piling up again, and it is finally getting to me. The blockage experience was quite painful for a few days and very scary. Then I've discovered that the shingles (which I had never really gotten rid off) is flaring up. That means back on those meds and the pain of a new outbreak. Then there is the fear of Mondays's scan. I don't normally sweat them, but this one has me nervous, and living in the future, missing out on the moment. I know better, but what can I say? I've had what I call the "chemo punies" before, and I just have to ride them out. My blood counts aren't as high as they should be which doesn't help.
Say an extra prayer if you will that I get back to my "inspiring" self instead of this whiny lady.
Love and gratitude.........Linda

As I told you before, you have every right to complain on ocassion. it is good for the soul.
I am excited you will be right in my back yard sort of, in a few weeks. I will come over and do the St. Paul Boogy for you when you get down!
Claudia
I know that I was not one of your best guests and not myself because of the traveling crud but do you need me to come back? Maybe some ground turkey soup of some kind is the order of the day. Lots of positive being sent from Alaska. We love you.
It's okay to whine and cry... especially when you're not feeling the greatest right now. Hopefully with the infusion, that will help perk you up a bit and get you ready for your birthday this weekend! :) Sending lots of positive thoughts and big hugs!!
Love,
Jim and Swee
Linda,
You never whine!! Keep the positive attitude going. We are pulling for you.

Hey girl! I was listening to a wonderful song yesterday that reminded me of you. It is called "Fight Like a Girl". Imagine you have heard it but if not you might want to. It might make you cry a little bit more but it is a wonderful song - kind of your story I think. You are such a trooper and putting up such a good fight. Wish I was there to hug you. I sent a card off to you today by snail mail and it probably won't reach you by Saturday so hope you have a great day and know that you are loved. Ginnie
Linda, you are so honest about your feelings, whether they are sunny, which is most of the time, or if some clouds are in your way. I think that is what many of us admire about you the most. You don't always have to be sunshine and rainbows for us to love and admire you. Remember that we are here to carry some of that burden and share the joys. Your peanut gallery is there for you!!!

You don't need to ask for extra prayers...you get them every day. Hang in there. xoxo Darrell and Shar
Universal Healer, please bring to Linda a renewed sense of peace and calm and health. Take from her the fears and worries plaguing her. Ease her conscious mind, allowing the eternal flow of Well Being to infuse her body and soul and ego. Let today's procedures end with optimum results. Let all upcoming tests and exams reveal continued healing and improving health. And let her heart rest serenely in your eternal strength.
And so it is.
Susie
Tears can be very therapeutic. Sometimes I think it's the nervous system's way of resetting itself. You're a brilliant woman to acknowledge your low points and have the courage to reach out for help during them. God bless you and heal you now and forever more. Amen.
Marjorie
Hey Linda,
Hang in there...and know we're hanging in with you.
I wanted to wish you an early Happy Birthday too! Perhaps the sugar rush from a fabulous birthday cake would lighten your mood...wink, wink Dave!

Dear Linda,
I hope your spirits have been lifted with all the prayers, birthday wishes, & supportive comments on your blog! I sincerely hope you feel the power & energy from everyone wishing you the very best. Happy Birthday!
I look forward to seeing you, when you arrive in Wilsonville.
I think you have been amazingly strong with all you have been through lately. The doctor is right, you have had way too much on your plate! It is time to surround yourself with friends, family, rest, relax, & heal. You have been on the go facing some big challenges lately that would make anyone cry! Time to slow down for a while, & let your body heal. Love, Rhody
Hang in there mama Linda- You have nothing to lose. You are strong and can make it through anything!! We will send prayers your way. Love, Lindy
Linda - it's a few hours early, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Thought we'd send our wishes a little early as I will be swamped at work tomorrow and will most probably not get a chance to do so then. Hope it's a day as special as you! :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Jim and Swee
p/s: See you soon! :)
It's Saturday now and you know what they say on days like today:
Hippo Birdie Two Ewes! (Maybe you have to see the card to really laugh at it.)
May you be having a good day today and may you live long and prosper.
We love you (both)
Marjorie and Larry
Linda Happy birthday. I wanted to send you a card, but since you sold your home I don't have an address. When you get back to the Valley, dinner is on me so have in mind a place you would like to dine...Love you..
