Monday Morning July 2nd

"Yesterday was my best day..the day before..my worst"
Linda

What a difference a day makes....emotions...anticipation...anxiety...fear....peace....

Tomorrow is the first step..by meeting with the Pulmonologist...we hope to get insights into what she is up against...it's been the fear of the unknown that has taken its toll.

Yesterday we drove up the McKenzie Pass just west of us ...it sits between two wilderness areas...Linda did some deep breathing...taking in that fresh mountain air...filling her lungs and feeling its healing...she is focusing on healing....it was good.

Wow. I'm just floored by all of this. I just saw you guys in Portland and everything seemed so good! We've been friends a long time and I just can't stand the idea of what you're going through right now. I've experienced that awful waiting for information, reading too much and frightening yourself, depression, hope, certainty, uncertainty... it's a lot to deal with, but I know that your marriage is so strong and your bond so complete that you'll make it through this together. I'm here for you should you need anything - just say the word. I love you both more than I can ever express to you and cherish your friendship. I'll count on seeing you at the track again soon... I'd be lost out there without you! Stay strong, keep thinking positive and let all the prayers and energy from your friends around the world bring you healing and peace. You'll beat this, Linda. I know you will. - CJ

Linda, our thoughts and prayers are with you tomorrow as you start your journey. We will do our best to keep the program running smoothly at the track. I tried to keep Dave up all night answering my emails. Sorry about that!

Dave and Linda, you are both in our thoughts as Linda heads into her appointment. Please know that you are not alone in your journey, as you have an army of friends backing you up all around the world! Thank you for the updates and we'll keep you in our daily prayers with each step you take.
Sincerely, Shelly & Jason Paul (Green Bay, WI)

I know you'll get through this just fine, and quickly. I know because we need you at the track!! We miss you here! Don't get me wrong, your absence has definitely given others a great chance to shine, and they have; but it's just not the same without you. I'm praying for you both!
