Linda walked with Janine's help this morning with a walker. She is sitting up drinking tea....and taking some medications by mouth....she is encouraged to drink water today...so the tea works. So good news....hopefully a visit to the clinic on Monday with Suzie and then back for the last of the radiation starting Tuesday....

You go Linda! It is such a very nice feeling to see positive remarks from Dave about your condition. It's about time. Keep on doing what you're doing--you're going to lick this thing!
And Dave, it's nice that you have gotten some rest and now you can get back to taking care of that lady of yours! Julie and Bob Brown
I wanted to let you guys know that I read the blog every day, sometimes twice a day. Also know that I am thinking about you constantly and know that you will win this battle.
I was recently on the Fentnyl patch when I had meningitis. The hospital used it in place of morphine. It was friendlier! I was also on Zofran with both pregnancies and the menengitis. Have you tried that one? It is a cancer drug so I am sure you have but if not...ask about it.
All my love, Laura Desmond and family
I've been on vacation -- watching grey clouds hang out over Duck, NC. But I've been thinking about you, L. I'm so sorry you had such a rough week. Keep on keepin' on -- what else is there to do? I'm so very glad that today was an improving day. And here's to more days just like it. .... Got nothing funny to close with -- just lots and lots of good vibes sent your way.

Linda, I wish you the best. I just got this from Joanne. I remember all the good times from when I was out in Oregon which was 35 years ago. It does not seem that long ago. I know you are tough so hang in there. your cousin Keith
