Saturday Night Late....September 29th

No radiation day as it is the weekend...no hydration either......Linda actually met her goals as to water intake to replace the hydration...so that was good......she also got the 5 cans of "food" in her system...so all in all, a good day.

Brother Darron and sister in law LaVelle arrived from Alaska by motorhome (7 and a half days on the road)....now Linda will have something else to focus on...in fact she took a walk today to the mail box and back and played cards tonight until almost 10 pm!!!!! We are still giving her plenty of pain medication as well as the other various medications but she seemed to hold her own today....my hope is tomorrow goes as well and next week will be one she "cruises" through.

This walker was put together by Kurt Wagner ("Manic") as a "spoof" for my birthday at a Champ Car fan function........he spent a lot of time on it...it actually has real racing car parts as well as genuine decals....little did he know that "Linda-lou" would take a "spin" with it.....thanks again Kurt!

Linda, you look so good. I know you probably dont feel real hot yet. But, you look great. Keep up the good work, you are awesome. When my clients start complaining about how hard their life is, I share with them about your spirit, and goals to beat this disease. I am definitely in awe, lil lady. Hugs to you all. Hey, Linda!
Congratulations on your progress. Keep "hanging in there." Maybe the worst is over as far as treatments now.
Good to see the pictures of you up and moving about with a big smile!

Cheers,
Shari (Forbes)

Linda/Dave,

Looking good, girl. I like the walker. Cathy's walker isn't as fancy (or fast). Been praying for you and Dave. Good to hear you went out for a walk. This should help build back your strength.
Love the pics. I'll keep praying for both of you.

Careful Linda,

Don't wear that thing out, before Dave really needs it!! You need to save it for his trips around the old folks home!!!:)

Linda you look great and keep up the good fight!!

We are praying for you,

Ron and family

Dave,

Although I built the walker to "help you through" the exhaustion of long weekends at the track, it was (and is) not gender specific. As much as it was assembled for "levity", I am happy to see that it has practical application, too (although I would much rather the necessity for its use not be there).
Our best goes out to the both of you, as do our hopes for complete recovery...If anyone has the fortitude to accomplish this, it's Linda.

What strength, agility, and "cleverness" can not accomplish, INTENSITY can...(and I know a bit about intensity).

Stay strong and know that our hearts are with you.

Glad you're doing better. Keep your spirit up - and your sense of humor - I know humor helped get Janette thru her cancer - she's a survivor and you will be too.

Love,
Cousin Joanne
