We are waiting for the Oncologist who is to come this am...we want to set up a meeting ASAP to discuss "next steps" so we can plan on Florida....or....or....I wrote a letter last night to the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa to see if they would work with Linda's Oncologist so we can go to Florida this winter.
Linda needs a shower....she can have one....and will do so immediately upon arrival at home.
I was reading the paper this morning and was looking through the obituaries (one does that when getting old)....a fellow passed away and was noted to have "a gift of gab" and "knew something about everything"....I thought...I know a guy like that....whoa....it was the guy! He owned an RV park in beautiful Camp Sherman where we take our motorhome from time to time....Jim could/would talk your leg off....he's probably talking the wings off of "you know who" now.....

Linda's Oncologist came in.....we all agreed we would come in this Wednesday to plan the next 3 months...so we are excited to get to know soon what the "next steps" will be.
Now..."Can we go home"....Mrs. Wood has her lipstick on....deodorant .....perfume on....ready to go....

B-R-A-V-E....That's what you are, Linda, allowing Dave to bring his camera to the hospital. I hope he does NOT give John any ideas. Linda, you are going to have to take charge of that camera for some payback pics.
Glad to hear that you will be home today. That's where the healing starts.
Hope that you can continue the treatment in Florida. Sounds like just the thing for the two of you.

I'm just back from 2 weeks in New Zealand and Australia. The first thing I check (ok, after my personal email) is this blog. I catch a glimpse of THAT look on Linda's face and I know it has not all been cherry sundaes since I've been gone. I skip down a few days and start reading to see what happened. Never a dull moment, that's for sure.
I'm particularly glad that they could do the laparoscopy. And not only on behalf of your pole dance customers. TravelMom had to have the full surgery at 88. Takes a bit out of you to have a smiley face carved in your abdomen. I should add that she's been much healthier since then. It drags you down in subtle ways you don't even realize.
Mostly I'm glad you're home and "done" with this. Chalk it up one more experience we're glad is over but glad it was successful.
