Another trip to town......
Linda had her appointment with the Oncologist Nurse Practitioner today...and things went well. The appointment was to keep track of Linda's condition, as in the last cycle she had troubles about this time......her blood pressure remains strong and her pain is being managed well....at this point...of course each new day can be different so we are keeping close eye on things.
My hypertension continues to be bothersome...I visited the Doctor again today and he has added some "blockers"..whatever that means. I am wanting very much to feel better...not a time to go through this.
We are hoping for an "eventless" weekend....and then a good week next week.

I notice that even Sadie seems calmed by the word "believe"!
Thinking and praying for you guys and my thoughts are with you as you both deal with your health issues. Get better because I'm way too young to be dealing with "old" parents!!!! Jeesh!
I found a great quote the other day that really hit home to me. It was by a man named Theodore Hesburgh and he said, "The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother" and I find that especially endearing and true to our present situation. Thanks Dad, for all you do for my mom. Words can't express how amazing you've been through it all. Now, PLEASE, take care of yourself so you can take care of her for years and years to come.
