Linda is sound asleep..after ordering a big breakfast coming at 8 am...go figure.....she said it is her best meal of the day...so that is a good sign she plans on eating...
Again, it looks like the O2 issue might be resolved....at least for now.....we were told this morning she was at 60% coming into the ER last night...ouch....
The meds are still coming and coming for the pneumonia so we are not out of the woods by any means.....the palliative care doctor last week had warned us about pneumonia....
Calvary is coming.......Linda's brother Marlin and sister in law Joni are loading on a plane out of Yuma, Arizona right now, heading this way.....Son Jim and daughter in law Jenn have caught an early flight from Phoenix and on their way.....friend Mary is ready to load in Burbank, California heading here......daughter Wendy is driving down later this morning from Seattle....
About 8 am I think I will go home and brush my teeth and let the dog out...poor Sadie....she has been close to Linda all the way (stays on the bed all day)..she must have felt lost last night with Linda gone...
Linda and I talked this morning and wondered by she wasn't in ICU.....then Duh.....we remembered what the Doctor said about the advanced directive and all....no ICU would be needed.....makes sense now.....

I am so thankful help and support is on the way for the two of you. Dave please make sure you get some rest while everyone is there. We do not want the two of you in the hospital together:) or at least not sick together.
I am waiting to hear from JIm and Jenn to see if Jillian and I will be coming up today or wait until tomorrow. Either way we will be there soon.
Jillian and I can help with Sadie if you would like.
Love you both of you.
Julie
Gee, sorry to hear about all the excitement while I have been unable to get to a computer. Our best to both of you. Wish we could do more than just read about what is going on. We are so glad that you have the calvary to assist.
Linda, hang in there.

I'm sure I speak for many of the assorted peanuts when I say I'm sitting here, reading this, stunned. The last thing I do at night is check the blog and then again the first thing in the morning. Went to bed--all is relatively well. Got up--not so much. My heart was pounding as I caught up with the overnight posts, reaching out to us and sharing your emotions, and the beautiful, heartfelt replies. If only I could write so eloquently.
Dave and Linda, you are the role models for us all. Your love for each other is the brightest star in the universe. It illuminates everything. We are lucky to share in that light. God Bless you both.
Marjorie
Please tell Linda that I love her and am praying for her as we all wait for better news today. I am still in Phoenix but we head home today. Love to you my dearest friend. My life would have been so different without you in it. Judy
LaVelle stayed up most of the night with the Blog (great job as always). We are very relieved to see that O2 number. Both of you get some rest.
Linda and Dave- Again, another big bump in the road for you guys. I am so glad to hear that Linda is resting well and wanting to eat. Please take care of yourself Dave...Sending many prayers, hugs and love your way.
Hang in there you two, we are always thinking of you both!

So glad to hear that you have help on the way, Dave. Thank you so much for keeping us posted - we really do appreciate it. I am sure that everyone who can't be there wishes they (we) could be there for the two of you... so all I know to do right now is to send more prayers and lots of hugs to the two of you and your family.
Hang in there!
Jim and Swee
Dear Linda,
You are a life warrior and reading the blog has given a renewed appreciation for the spirit in you that loves life and your family. My thoughts are with you with blessings,
Candace Ludtke
I hope that this evening finds all of you breathing easier for whatever reasons. While it may seem dark now, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Not necessarily the one us physical beings want, but it's a bright shining holy healing light nonetheless. I surely hope there's more time here for you, Linda, for you are a fierce one with much to teach all of us. But no matter what's up next, I am honored to have been part of this journey. I hold you and all your loved ones in a golden glow of healing Love and Peace and Energy. May this step be onto a path of much more time here. And may the last step be one of ease and comfort for you.
Love and hugs and thoughts and prayers -- and tears. :-)
Susie
Dave and Linda:
I didn't get to check your blog yesterday and was so happy to see so many entries and information today. Thank you, Dave for keeping all of us informed. I think of you two often and it helps to read your updates to know how things are going. I am so glad that your family is on their way. May you all find peace together.
I am sending prayers and hugs to all of you.
Love,
JO Paola
We are praying that there is a turn, and Linda will be stable or comfortable again, soon.
Take care
Lots of Love
