We then took a trip into Bend to look at a couple of tour homes before everything closed up...and we ran into the Cascade Cycling Classic. The 30th annual Cascade Cycling Classic is the longest consecutively run elite stage race in the country and has attracted most of North America's top cyclists and teams over the years. Today was the 6th and last leg of the Classic. Lance Armstrong has won it before.
Linda is doing well....the cough continues.....so we hope it is the lingering bronchitis....which it should be....we don't like it when there are mixed signals....creates a bit of anxiety.
Tomorrow we rest and then off to the Valley starting Tuesday (after a small surgery) in the motorhome.....activities will include the Oregon Jamboree... a trip to the Coast with family, etc..etc..

Hey cool! When I visited Italy, we stumbled across the Giro d'Italia coming through the middle of Sorrento one day. Was terrific fun to stand along the street with the crowds, buy some merchandise and cheer as the cyclists and support vehicles came screaming through. Was a bonus feature we'd have no idea we'd get to see. Fun!!
Glad you guys are doing well. I do hope the spec house sells. If I had the money, I'd love to live in a joint like that!

Me too Cheryl. Maybe we could each by one part? Problem is, I think I could only scratch up the scratch for the front entranceway. LOL!
You can sense the speed in those bikes (do I dare call them that?) just by the pictures. Exciting. And I can see why everything closed up while they went by. Whooooooosh!
We'd love to buy the house if we win the lottery! :) It's gorgeous!
